Tracey Radnall
Tracey has worked in design and art direction for nearly 30 years, the past 14 of which she has specialized in sports and the outdoors running her own business. She has worked closely with the Womens Sports Foundation and Trail and Country Walking magazines. She is a keen walker and cyclist... cycling across Cuba earlier this year. Tracey is also RYA Yacht Skipper qualified and has a great love of sailing. She lives near Stamford with her 2 spaniels, one of whom features on the Adventure Women bookings page.
Marcelle Cassar
Marcelle’s (veterinary) career brought her to the Lake District 20 years ago. During this time she has built up a wealth of outdoor experience exploring the lakeland fells, Yorkshire dales, North Wales and Scotland, both on foot and in the saddle. She’s been accross Europe, Nepal, Africa (climbing Mount Kilimanjaro en route) and to New Zealand both as a group leader and as an independent traveller. She lives with two dogs, several chickens and a rescued tortoise..... the collection appears to be growing!
Jean Napier
Jean is a Professional Photographer, Qualified Mountain Leader and a Training Consultant. Her work includes teaching photography, outdoor skills training, leading guided walks and designing and delivering personal and professional development training. She lives in the Snowdonia National Park where the magnificent landscape, industrial heritage and wealth of ancient history provide inspiration and a source material for her work.
Sue Mitchell
Sue has been involved in teaching and leading groups in the outdoors for both children and adults for over 25 years. She has a great deal of experience and competance in a wide variety of outdoor sports including Skiing, kayaking, mountain biking and walking. Her love of the outdoors and mountaineering has taken her all over the world. Sue has recently completed the notorious GR20 Corsican high route. Sue is ML qualified and is a competitive fell runner too. She lives in Northumberland with her 3 dogs and an assortment of other animals.
Anne Ford
Anne has led walking holidays both at home and abroad, including Northern Spain, Austria, Italy, Morocco and closer to home in the Scottish highlands and Lake District. She is a BASI qualified cross country ski instructor and has taught and led ski trips in Norway, Italy and Austria. Anne also has a love of cycling and enjoys creating her own routes both on and off-track to discover out of the way places.
Claire Maxted
Claire has been leading mountain walks since her university days in Manchester. She now teaches on Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and writes for Trail magazine. When Claire is not writing she fell runs, cycles and climbs and is training for her Mountain Leader assessment in the spring. Her favourite mountains include Pequena Alpa Mayo, Bolivia as it was the first time she got to wield an ice axe, and Tryfan, a scrambler’s paradise that’s a different experience every time.
